Recently, a possible opportunity has presented itself. A person from a U.S. organization, which helps people who need medical care overseas, saw a picture of her on this blog. They may be able to fly her to the States and perform an operation that can not be done here. The operation would solve here physical problems, hopefully permanently. The organizations new fiscal year starts in July. Please lift up, that the organization would decide to help her, and that she would be able to go through the necessary channels to get help. This is an amazing opportunity for her, that we never thought possible, please ask that the Father would take care of her through this process. |

Here is a quick update on Bounthip. She has been doing better, but last week her parents noticed some changes. There is a place on the back of her head that has begun to bulge out, and it appears that the shunt which was a result of the surgery has come loose. So, once again, Bounthip's head is beginning to fill with water. Her head is slowly getting bigger, but not noticeably. The family took a trip last Friday back to Khon Kaen, but the doctor is out of the country. Because of the seriousness of the situation, the family tried to see another doctor in Udon (a Thai city closer to the Lao border) on Monday of this week. It also proved unsuccessful for various reasons. So, the family is set to travel to Khon Kaen tomorrow to see the doctor who originally did the surgery. We are hoping that he has arrived back in Thailand, and that he will have a quick solution for this problem. Please remember the family as they are tired from traveling and afraid of the unknown. We know that the Father is in control and we are petitioning that this family will know the same peace. I will update as more information comes in. Thank you for your thoughts.
